What are the minimum order quantities for specialty printing?

Minimum order quantities vary by project type. Most specialty projects require 250-500 copies minimum. Complex projects like Smyth sewn hardcovers with foil may have higher minimums. We provide exact MOQs during the quoting process.

How does the specialty printing quote process work?

Tell us what you want to create and we will put together a detailed quote. Specialty projects require a non-refundable deposit to begin production, include up to two rounds of proof revisions, and quotes are valid for 60 days. We handle sourcing, production coordination, and fulfillment.

Can you print white text on black paper?

Yes. We have production equipment with a dedicated white toner station specifically designed for printing on dark and colored stocks. This produces true opaque white — not reversed-out or simulated.

Do you offer hardcover book printing?

Yes. We produce case-bound hardcovers with Smyth sewn binding through our trade binding partners. Options include cloth or printed covers, foil stamping on covers and spines, dust jackets, ribbon markers, and head and tail bands. Minimum quantities apply.

What are the minimum order quantities?

Do you offer pre-sales support for specialty products?

Absolutely. Pre-sales campaigns work exceptionally well for specialty products. Gauge demand before committing to a production run. We can help you structure a pre-sale that hits your minimum quantity targets.

Can specialty products be fulfilled on demand after the initial run?

It depends on the product. Some specialty items can transition into our standard fulfillment pipeline for on-demand reorders. Others are better suited to batch production runs. We'll advise on the best approach for your specific product during quoting.
